Light in the landscape

Painting in the city

I spent some years before covid painting in Glasgow and Edinburgh.  I developed my skies in a city setting. I looked at the way light falls between buildings, gives them shape and as if by magic transforms a street from drab to a delight.  Artificial light gives another take on the city as night falls.
